SALVATION is the story of a Catholic nun’s trip to Tibet. It is about self-cognition, the interaction of different cultures and religions, about the interaction of man with the constantly changing world around him. «Salvation» is a meditative road-movie, a psychodrama, a story about the shifting reality and the work of human perception within it. According to Ivan Vyrypayev, he conceived the idea when he saw a Catholic cathedral in the Tibetan mountains at four and a half thousand meters above the sea level. It was the only cathedral in Buddhist Tibet, the divine service was conducted in the Tibetan language. The shooting were in India, Poland and Russia in May 2014.
